Hi Everyone!

My name is Mrs. Thornton, and I am super excited to be a part of the 4th Grade Team at Daniel Pratt Elementary School. This school year I will be teaching English Language Arts (Grammar/Writing) and Reading!

A little personal information about me...I have been married to my husband, John, for almost 5 years. We have two beautiful daughters and a precious pup. When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy cooking and baking- as well as reading books (both physical books and e-books on my Kindle). My family and I also love attending college football games- War Eagle and Go Troy!  

I look forward to working with this incoming group of 4th grade students. I am excited to watch them grow and learn over the course of the school year.
