Hello and welcome!

I'm Mrs. Daniel, and I'm excited to spend this school year learning and growing alongside your child!

I am a Prattville native, although I spent a few years living and teaching in Kansas City before making my way back home. I graduated from the University of Alabama and began teaching in 2013. This summer, I completed my Master of Education degree-which means after years of assigning homework,  I finally finished my own! When I'm not teaching, I'm usually busy keeping up with my three children: a sixth grader and energetic 4-year-old boy-girl twins. I absolutely love teaching reading and helping students discover books that make them laugh and wonder. My goal is to help each student find joy and confidence in reading and coming to school each day. 

Outside of school, you would be most likely to find me reading a good thriller, watching documentaries, or playing with my kids. I enjoy any opportunity to experience new places or learn a new skill. I can't wait for a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and lots of great books!
