I previously taught at Martin Luther King Elementary School in Tuscaloosa. I taught all subject areas! This is my second year here at Daniel Pratt in 5th grade teaching English Language Arts.
Bio
I am originally from Indiana. I moved from there to go to school at the University of Alabama. I graduated there with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education Early Childhood. I am certified to teach in general education PreK-6th grade and special education up to 3rd grade. I have three animals: 2 dogs (Astro and Woody) and 1 cat (Lavender). I have an amazing significant other who is also a teacher. His name is Jeremiah, and he teaches secondary English! We have been together for almost 5 years. We got engaged last March! Jeremiah's entire family is from Chilton County and Autauga County. My favorite hobbies include reading, spending time with family, traveling, and baking! I am so excited for this school year! It is going to be the best one yet!
