I graduated from Eufaula High School in 1994.  I graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Physical Education endorsement to become a Physical Education teacher in 2023.

Hi!  My name is Tressa Teal, and I am a Physical Education teacher at Daniel Pratt Elementary School. Students refer to me as "Coach T". This is my 28th year as an educator. The last 21 of those years have been spent right here at Daniel Pratt!  I taught in the General Education classroom for 25 years, grades 1st thru 5th (primarily first grade). This is my third year as a PE teacher.

I have three wonderful children -two boys and a girl. Mason is 23 years old and works as an ICU nurse at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.  Ryley is 21 years old and a senior at Auburn University.  My daughter, Josie, is 17 years old and is a senior at Prattville High School.  

I am so excited about another great year at DPES! I love our school, our students, and my job! :)
